This post just triggered nightmares for me. I had the exact same thing happen to me about a week ago. I ts been a real flail to figure out how to get my discrete gpu back in the picture. Heres to hoping for a simple fix for ya though!

Get used to this shit.
There is a reason I haven’t sold the Quadro line in years, and it ain’t just because NV says floating point “is imprecise.” Yes, they actually fucking said that about the V100 defects.

Yeah it’s been super weird and glitchy recently, may be the beginning of the end for this one.
Luckily my back up is nearly as powerful, just down some ram.
